The mayor called their presence in Lansing “a clarion call.” for not just his city’s schools, but schools across the state.

Monday, a proposal was submitted by the Benton Harbor Area Schools Board of Education in an attempt to keep the high school open and strengthen the district as a whole. The Board meets with the Governor on Wednesday.
