911 Center urges people to stop dropping off animals

The St. Joseph County 911 Center is reminding people not to leave animals at the center.

On Wednesday, the center tweeted that it had happened twice in a week.

Instead, residents should contact animal control if they have an unwanted animal.

Calling 911 for an animal control emergency is also not what the service is for. For that, St. Joe County residents should call 574-255-4726.
