Special Prosecutor to investigate deadly officer-involved shooting of Eric Logan

Earlier this week, St. Joseph County Prosecuter Ken Cotter requested that a special proscecutor take over the investigation into the deadly officer-involved shooting of Eric Logan.

On Wednesday, June 26, it was announced that a special prosecutor will do so, but one has not yet been named.

The person selected will head up the investigation into the shooting by Sergeant Ryan O’Neill, who claimed that Logan threatened him with a knife.

O’Neill’s body camera was not on at the time of the shooting.
