** original story **

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a missing 8-year-old boy.

Brayden Oswalt, 8, was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, blue shorts and was riding a yellow Hot Wheels bicycle with the number 68 on the tag.

Officials say the boy has been missing since some time Thursday morning.

The search is focused in the Tepee Drive area, north of E. Old Road 30, near the highway garage. Multiple K9 units are in the area, so deputies are asking people to avoid any foot traffic in the area.

A helicopter is on the way to assist in the search.

Officials say Brayden is fascinated with heavy equipment and water. If you see him, please call 911 immediately.
