An Edwardsburg woman has been charged with reckless homicide for a crash early last month in Granger.

28 year-old Nicole Mary Nelson faces a pair of charges in the crash that killed 54 year-old Ricardo Yzaguirre of Mishawaka. That crash was at the intersection of Bittersweet and Cleveland around 6 o’clock in the morning on June 6.

The victim was riding a motorcycle that was hit by the car and pronounced dead at the scene. Nelson, whose charges include having a foreign substance in her blood at the time of the crash, is due in court Tuesday afternoon.
