Hit-and-run driver sought in LaPorte County

Police in LaPorte County are looking for an orange Dodge Ram pickup truck that they say was involved in a hit-and-run on Friday, June 28.

It happened around 1 PM in the 2900 N block of County Road 950 W, which is in rural Coolspring Township.

The victim in the crash suffered minor injuries, and was an employee of a recycling company who was putting a recycling container on a lawn. The truck did not stop and was described as an orange Dodge Ram with an Indiana license plate. It might have damage to the passenger side mirror and door frame.
