Vice President Mike Pence was on his was to a planned trip to New Hampshire Tuesday when he was called back to the White House for “an emergency change of schedule.”
No specifics have been given, but Pence Chief of Staff Marc Short stated that there was no emergency, and no cause for alarm. He said the trip would be rescheduled soon.
There were initial reports that Air Force Two was diverted back to Washington D.C., however Short says the plane never actually left The Capital.
