Work to install a Safe Haven Baby Box in Warsaw could begin as early as Sunday, July 7.

Chief Mike Wilson told the Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory Board on Tuesday that a contractor will be looking at the Station 2 location this week where the box will be installed.

It will allow for the safe surrender of newborns with no questions asked.

Another baby box location being installed in Syracuse is set to be completed in two weeks.
