Wheel comes off car, woman injured in speed-related crash

Speed is said to be a factor in a crash that injured a 32-year-old woman from Bristol.

The collision happened around 1:40 p.m. on Monday, July 8, on County Road 10, east of State Road 15, when the vehicle ran off the side of the road, then came back on, according to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office.

The back passenger tire then fell off and the car overturned.

The woman wan was hospitalized with cuts to her arms, feet and shoulder pain.
