An 18-year-old South Bend man was shot and killed in Cass County.
The shooting happened around 2 a.m. on Sunday, July 28, in the 2900 block of Yankee Street in Howard Township.
The victim, Dayman Chatman, died from his injuries while attending a large gathering at the home.
Witnesses at the scene were interviewed and possible witnesses that left the scene are sought for further questioning. The home owner was not at the residence at the time of the shooting.
There was no immediate word of any suspects or arrests.
