Man gets 18 years for fatal December crash in St. Joseph County

A man has been sentenced to 18 years for a three-car fatal hit and run crash in St. Joseph County last December.

30 year-old Joel Barrozo received the sentence Friday morning in the crash near W. Lathrop and N. Bendix on December 16.

Forty-seven year-old Marvi Thomas and two young children were killed in that crash, and two other people were seriously injured.

Barrozo pleaded guilty to all ten charges in the case on July 2.
