The Elkhart Parks & Rec Department is getting ready to shut down their aquatic facilities for the season.

The sunshine this weekend will see the NIBCO Splash Pad at the center of the festivities at the Thor Industries Elkhart Riverwalk Grand Prix. It will be a designated kids zone for kids 12 and under.

Ideal Beach Water Park, McNaughton Spray Park, and the Pierre Moran Pool will close Sunday evening at 6.

The Splash Pad at NIBCO will be open weekends only through Labor Day.
