The South Bend Fire Department recommends avoiding the area listed below during the Memorial Service for Fallen Firefighter Captain Dave Koehler on Wednesday, August 14, 2019. Expect traffic delays during the procession.

A Mass of Christian burial with full honors will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 226 N Hill St, South Bend. A procession will proceed through the city, past Fire Station 4 and end at Firefighters Union Hall at 4025 Lincoln Way West. The procession is estimated to start about 11:30 a.m.

The procession will start at Hill and LaSalle going west to Charles Martin Sr. Drive. A left turn on Charles Martin Sr. Drive then a right turn on Colfax after passing Fire Station 2 going under the Garrison Flag. The procession will continue on Colfax/Orange and turn right on Olive Street passing Fire Station 4. The procession will continue north on Olive to Lincoln Way West and end at the South Bend Firefighters Union Hall, 4025 Lincoln Way West.
