Officials in Benton Harbor still looking for possible suspect in car theft

A vehicle reported stolen from Kentwood, Michigan turned up in Benton Harbor earlier this month with a possible suspect asleep in the backseat.

It happened on August 1.

That suspect attempted to escape on foot when rousted by officers from the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety, before returning to the vehicle and fleeing the scene.

The police are looking for the vehicle — a silver Nissan Pathfinder — and any information on the suspect, who remains at large.
