Police responded to a shooting Friday morning outside of the Teacher’s Credit Union on Ireland Road.
It happened just before noon at the branch in the 1900 block of Ireland near Ironwood.
Police were called to the scene and found a man with a shoulder injury. They do not believe the shooting was related to the Credit Union and its unclear at this time exactly where the shooting occurred.
The victim was not an employee of TCU and the police say the incident was the result of a physical confrontation that resulted in shots fired. A possible suspect is in custody.
