A big expansion is planned at the Boys And Girls Club of Middlebury.

The club is looking forward to having more room to serve even more kids at the completion of a $4.6 million expansion. The work will add another 17 thousand square feet.

The facility opened in 2007 with 125 kids, and now serves more than twice that number in the same facility.

The Boys And Girls Club says they will also have the chance to expand their programs, including new choices like cooking classes and other skills.

Construction began earlier this month and is expected to wrap up in June.
