Murder suspect in Elkhart shooting death sought

The Elkhart County Homicide Unit and the United States Federal Marshall’s Office are asking for the public’s help in finding Iman Cashmere Lula Gregory on an active warrant for the murder of Ishmael Porter.

Gregory was charged with murder on May 31 in the Elkhart Circuit Court, and an arrest Warrant was issued. However, the charge and issuance of the Warrant were sealed at the time to attempt to locate her without her being aware of the warrant.

Ishmael Porter was found dead at 323 Sherman Street around 1:35 a.m. on May 26.

Iman Cashmere Lula Gregory is described as a 5’7”, 190 lb, black female. She was born on January 26, 1994. She has been known to wear her hair very short or with dreadlocks.
