Police now say an argument led to the shooting, and describe the suspect as a black male. The full tweet from @southbendpolice:

There was an argument just before shots were fired. The possible suspect is described as a black male last seen wearing a dark colored shirt or sweatshirt and was driving a black SUV. Call SBPD at 574-235-9201 or Crime Stoppers at 574-288-STOP w/ info. #southbend

A shooting in South Bend last night has police on the hunt, it happened in the 1100 block of Huey Street around 9pm.

The victim suffered a graze wound on his arm. A tweet from the Police Department said they are looking into a black SUV as a possible suspect vehicle.
