Kemia Hassel received a life sentence Thursday for her role in the planning and murder of her husband.

The 22 year-old Hassel, who chose not to address the proceedings, was sentenced for her role in the death of Sgt. Tyrone Hassel, as part of a love triangle and a desire to collect his military benefits and insurance with co-defendent Jeremy Cuellar.

Cuellar pleaded guilty in July, shortly after Kemia Hassel was found guilty by a jury.
