Thinking about picking up a seasonal job?

The City of South Bend’s Department of Public Works is hosting a job fair next Thursday, Sept. 19 to fill seasonal positions within the department.

The department is specifically looking to hire crew members for its six-week Leaf Pickup program, which runs from Oct. 28 – Dec. 6, and pays $16 per hour.

Interested candidates can apply online ahead of time at southbendin.gov/jobs, or fill out an application at the job fair.

The fair will take place from 3-6 p.m. at the Public Works Service Center, 731 S. Lafayette Boulevard.
