It happened at US 33 and US 6 where police say 29 year old Sharon Cuttriss failed to yield the right of way to a freight liner being driven by a Wakarusa man. Cuttriss did not survive the crash and the Wakarusa man was not injured.

This happened not far away from another fatal crash this week that injured a woman and her children, and claimed the life of the other driver.
