A 13-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after he was shot in the hand Thursday.

South Bend Police were called around 7:30 p.m. to the 1200 block of E. Donald Street where they found the boy.

South Bend Police report the shooter or shooters were in a dark-colored vehicle, which fled the scene after shots were fired.
