Two Elkhart residents hurt in speed-fueled crash in Cass County

Two people were hurt in a speed-related crash in Cass County.

The collision happened around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9, on Decatur Road north of Shurte Street in Penn Township.

The initial investigation showed a 40-year-old Elkhart man drove off the road into a curb flipping his vehicle onto its top.

The driver and his passenger, a 32-year-old Elkhart woman were taken to Lakeland hospital in Niles for treatment.
