Officials in St. Joseph County are looking to set the record straight about recent fetal remains that were discovered in connection with the Klopfer case.
The St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office wants to clear up the rumors and confusion surrounding the additional fetal remains announced this week in the Dr. Klopfer investigation.
Wednesday it was announced that additional fetal remains were located in a vehicle in Illinois belonging to the late doctor.
The Prosecutor’s Office says NO fetal remains associated with the case have been found here in St. Joseph County after a search of all buildings, property and vehicles connected to Klopfer or the Women’s Pavilion.
The investigation remains a matter for the Attorney General’s office.
