In a statement the university says that they have had to cancel the remainder of their season as injuries and other issues have led to a very small roster,and that it isn’t safe to continue to play with so few players.
Before the announcement they had already forfeit 5 games, and before that had a record of 0-4. They only played one actual conference game.
They will however continue to practice on a limited basis and dive into recruiting more players for next season.
