You may have noticed some new artwork around South Bend.
The city has partnered with the University of Notre Dame to install sculptures in roundabouts across the city. It’s all part of an effort to revitalize downtown South Bend and was supported by a grant from the Community of St. Joseph County.
ABC 57 reports that the city intends to keep the sculptures in place for a year, and if the program is well-received there could be an art rotation plan put into place.
