City Officials Warn to Think Before You Flush

Business owners in Goshen and Elkhart have received flyers warning people not to flush flushable wipes City leaders say the wipes are clogging lift stations, which cost around 30 thousand dollars to replace. T

he Cities of South Bend and Leesburg have also warned residents against flushing “flushable” wipes.

ABC 57 News reports it is not known if fines are being considered for anyone who ignores the warning.
