Wednesday night, the Mishawaka School Board voted to pass bond measures and raise teacher salaries.

The board increased base salaries by 1 point 6 to 4 point 2 percent, also raising the new minimum salary to $39,200. Teachers will also see new benefits under the new plan.

The bonds that were passed at the meeting will help pay the costs of building repairs and better traffic flow through the Student Safety and Traffic Circulation project.
