Latest on Officer Involved Shooting Near North Liberty

Some more details about the officer that fired shots that injured a suspect in a chase near North Liberty.

The officer that is now on paid administrative leave suffered a cut to his hand in the incident and was exposed to the suspects bodily fluid and had to be taken to the hospital for treatment and testing. The officer will remain on leave until an investigation into the matter is completed.
