Another crash on “The Devil’s Backbone”

Two people were injured in a crash on a road the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office refers to as “The Devil’s Backbone.”

Officials say a 65 year-old Warsaw man lost control of his SUV and hit another driven by a 58 year-old New Paris man. The crash happened on SR 25, south of CR 250 S around 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Both were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Deputies say the curves on that stretch of the road have a history with a large number of crashes, especially in poor weather conditions.
