Brian Boitano will come to South Bend for Howard Park opening

An Olympic Gold Medal-winning figure skater will be on hand for the grand opening celebration at Howard Park in South Bend.

Brian Boitano is a three-time Olympian who has also won dozens of other international titles and medals, and is a published author. He’s also a member of several Halls of Fame.

Boitano will be on hand for the festivities on Friday, November 29, when the ribbon is cut at Howard Park. The event will be open to the public and the ribbon-cutting is planned for 6 p.m.
