CDC Labels Indiana Flu Activity

The Centers For Disease Control and Prevention has Indiana labeled highlighted in the “Local Activity” category.

That is the 3rd-highest category behind “Regional” and “Widespread.” Thru the start of last week, the Hoosier State reported nearly 50 people with influenza-like illness. The state has also reported at lest two influenza-related deaths, so far this season.

ABC 57 News reports that states, including Michigan, Ohio and Illinois, are still only reporting “Sporadic Flu Activity.”
