Malware Effects Computer Systems at PHM

Officials with Penn-Harris-Madison schools say that thousands of students have been affected by a malware attack on the districts computer system. In order to halt the attack IT did have to completely shut down all of the districts servers on Wednesday.

WSBT reports that certain functions were down during that time–for example students couldn’t submit homework assignments. The positive takeaway is that it appears no personal information from any students was compromised at any time.
