Two young children were killed in what’s being called a tragic farming accident.

It happened around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19, on a farm in the 5000 block of 1350 North, southeast of Nappanee.

A semi driven by a 26-year-old man from Nappanee began to pull forward after being loaded with grain. As the truck started moving, the 3 and 5 year-old children, who were believed to be under the trailer, were struck, according to Kosciusko County Sheriff’s deputies.
