One of the people involved in the three-semi crash at State Rd 2 and Quince Rd has died.

The St. Joseph County FACT Team says the semi driver who drove into the back of one of the other semis at the intersection died of his injuries Monday evening. He’s been identified as 30 year-old Del Villar Joaking of Chicago. Police say he was driving the rear-ending semi, and was airlifted after the crash.

One of the other drivers, a 60 year-old Florida man, was treated for minor injuries.

Toxicology results are pending and the investigation continues.
