Transpo and South Bend Schools extend free rides

High School students in South Bend will continue to have a free ride with Transpo.

The partnership between Transpo and the South Bend Community School Corporation allows students to use the transit as a ride home on days when they have to be at school at times before or after their school buses can deliver them.

That program has been extended to the end of the school year for students at Adams, Riley and Washington High Schools as well as the Rise Up Academy.

Transpo’s service area does not include Clay High School, but those students are also welcome to enjoy the free travel offer.

You can view schedules and routes at the Transpo website.
