Indiana Congressman Jim Banks is taking on the porn industry.

Banks and three other Republicans in the House are calling on US Attorney General William Barr to make the prosecution of so-called “obscenity” a Department of Justice priority.

A letter signed by all four lawmakers says both the Trump and Obama administrations have ignored existing obscenity laws that prohibit the distribution of “obscene pornography” on the Internet, television, in hotels, and by retail establishments.

The letter does not specifically define what types of pornography count as “obscene.”
