The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi have completed work on their new Justice Center in Dowagiac.

The 23,000 square-foot facility combines the Pokagon Tribal Police Headquarters, Tribal Court, and a Peacemaking Center under one roof.

There’s space for 20 police officers, five court staff, a training area, holdings cells and more.

Construction began in September of last year.
