Sentence delayed for former Swanson Pool treasurer

The sentencing for the former treasurer of the Swanson Pool has been delayed.

On Wednesday, a judge pushed back the sentence for Amy Burris. She has admitted to taking money from the Swanson Highland Pool between 2015 and 2017.

St. Joseph County Police say she stole 66 thousand dollars, but her attorney claims the amount was actually much smaller. The disagreement over the amount has led the judge to delay her sentencing.
