Suspect sought in robbery at Lake City Bank in Pierceton

The Pierceton Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in locating the suspect who robbeD the Lake City Bank in Pierceton.

The heist happened around 1:55 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 23.

The male suspect entered the bank, displayed a handgun and ordered the employees to the ground.  

Surveillance video shows the suspect wearing a cream-colored South Pole hooded sweatshirt with brown elbow patches, blue jeans, blue gloves with white tips, and a blue bandana covering his face.  

The suspect placed the money in a red drawstring type backpack with white lettering before fleeing the bank on foot

Anybody with information is asked to contact Michiana Crime Stoppers toll free at 1-800-342-STOP.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest or indictment.

Tipsters will be assigned a code number and all tips remain anonymous.
