Two people were found shot to death inside a home in South Bend after an apparent domestic dispute between the two.

A relative called St. Joseph County Dispatch, Monday, for a welfare check on the couple at a home in the 2700 block of Hartzer Street.

On arrival, relatives allowed police to force their way into the home. Inside, officers found the bodies of Doneisha Jones, 36, and Tyson Crawford, 37.

The two had apparent gunshot wounds.

Investigators with the St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit say word of the domestic dispute between the two has not yet been confirmed.

Autopsies for the two are expected to shed more light on how exactly they died.
