Westville correctional officer arrested for trafficking

An officer at the Westville Correctional Facility was arrested on trafficking charges after reporting for work Sunday.

A tobacco product was found concealed on officer Mishael Crawford, who was detained and transported to the LaPorte County Jail.

Crawford was booked on a felony charge of Official Misconduct and a misdemeanor charge of Trafficking With An Inmate.
