Crash in Michigan kills Elkhart resident

Alcohol appears to be a factor in a semi involved crash that killed one person on Wednesday night in St. Joseph County Michigan. The crash happened around at US 131 and Riverside Drive when a pickup with several Elkhart residents turned northbound, in the wrong direction, and into the path of the semi.

One of the people inside the pickup died. The others were taken to the hospital. A Goshen man was driving the semi but was not injured.
