Biden attack ad goes after Buttigieg decisions in South Bend

A new campaign ad from Joe Biden’s campaign is targeting South Bend as it attacks Pete Buttigieg.

The ad goes after the former South Bend Mayor by attacking some the accomplishments Buttigieg has touted from his time in office. The first target in the ad, released on Twitter Saturday, is the city’s river lights.

The ad also went after the mayor’s sidewalk improvements, and his firing of the first black police chief in the city’s history.

The Buttigieg campaign says the attack ad says more about Biden’s current position in the race than it does about the former mayor.
