Man given 50 years for murdering his child’s grandmother

A man charged with shooting and killing his child’s grandmother in October of 2018 has learned his fate. 25-year-old Anthony Patton, Jr. was sentenced to 50 years in prison Tuesday for the death of Tomara Agnew.

Patton pleaded guilty by agreement to Murder back on January 14 of this year, and as part of a plea agreement, Attempted Murder, Resisting, False Informing and weapons-related charges were dropped.
