A man accused is five armed robberies early this month has been arrested and charged.

The robberies happened between February 1st and 8th, and all of them had essentially the same story; a man walking into a store, pulling a gun on the clerk or cashier, and walking away with cash.

It all came to a head when John Wigfall’s apparent getaway driver called police and confessed. When it was all said and done police say Wigfall robbed two dollar stores, two Walgreens, and an adult entertainment store; getting away with roughly $1,400.

They also determined that the gun he used was not a real firearm, despite that he is facing five counts of armed robbery.
