Two Cass County parole visits result in meth charges

Parole checks at two different homes in Cass County led to drug arrests on Wednesday.

The county’s Drug Enforcement Team found enough meth during a parole check at a home on King Street in Dowagiac to charge a 37 year-old man there with possession and intent to distribute.

Meanwhile, a 46 year-old man in Lagrange Township is also facing a meth possession charge after the drug was discovered in his home during a parole visit.

Both men await arraignment.
