Many call a stretch of road in Edwardsburg an eyesore, but that could soon be changing.

The Village of Edwardsburg is looking for funding to beautify a stretch along M-62.

WSBT reports that the financing for the landscaping project is the biggest hurdle to give a face-lift to the stretch of land next to the railroad tracks, which would include a mix of trees and flowers.

Ontwa Township officials and several businesses have pledged support, and assurances have been made that the popular snowmobile trails will not be impacted.
