Public feedback session set for South Bend animal ordinance changes

The South Bend Animal Resource Center will host a meeting to receive public feedback on proposed changes to Chapter 5 of the South Bend Municipal Code, which covers Animal Welfare.

The meeting will be held on Saturday, Feb. 29, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the main conference room of the O’Brien Community Center.

Feedback at the meeting will be focused on proposed changes to the city’s animal ordinance that cover general provisions, animal care regulations, and special requirements governing dogs, cats, ferrets, fowl, livestock and honey bee keeping.
