Congresswoman Jackie Walorski visited the Department of Health and Human Services coronavirus command center this week.

On Monday, Walorski was there for a first-hand update on the federal response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The 3rd District Representative said “any threat to the health and safety of the American people requires a robust response at the federal, state, and local levels,” and added that she has full confidence in our nation’s public health officials and health care providers, and the work they’re doing to keep Americans safe.

She also urged the government to find bipartisan cooperation to mount an effective response.
